Species in this genus
- Plenodomus avramii (obsolete)
Notes: Plenodomus avramii was described in 1978 by Dante Borelli. The fungus came from a black grain mycetoma. The fungus produces pycnidia. The pycnidia of this fungus has setae, which are characteristically seen in Pyrenochaeta. Unfortunately, the type material is not available and its proper classification is unknown. We wonder if it is not actually Pyrenochaeta romeroi, and we so list it in our tables.
